Switchboard
Four documents. Between them they say who you are dealing with, what the service does, where your words go, and what happens when something goes wrong.
The agreement between you and Protocol 42 Inc. for the use of Switchboard.
What Switchboard may and may not be used for. Part of the Terms.
What we collect, why, where it goes, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
AI providers and sub-processors
Every company that handles your data on our behalf, what it does, and which country it is in.
Your messages leave Canada. Switchboard answers you by sending what you wrote to a third-party AI company, most of which are in the United States. Every one of them is named on the providers page, along with what it does and what it has told us about retention and training. We do not use your conversations to train anything.
AI output is often wrong, and most convincing when it is. Detail and fluency are not evidence of accuracy. Check anything you are going to rely on. The Terms set out what that means for professional, medical, legal and financial use.
Questions about any of this go to legal@switchboardai.ca, and privacy requests to privacy@switchboardai.ca. A person answers both.
